| Kashiwa's
Tsukuba Works accommodates one of the world's largest
test facilities, comprising an extensive water-discharge
test field that is used solely for performance testing
of various water/foam monitors, foam generators and
mixing equipment, and a 5000m3 fire test facility
equipped with the newest equipment.
Kashiwa continuously endeavors to utilize these facilities
to ensure their products are both state of the art
and highly reliable. |

Comprising a heat resisting
structure, the test facility facilitates large scale
fire tests with temperatures of up to 100MW. During
fire tests, temperature, pressure, flow rate of the
extinguishant and oxygen density are monitored and recorded
by computer at several points.
This equipment perfectly satisfies guidelines on fire
tests specified in MSC Circ.668, the IMO's latest requirement. |

| Kashiwa's Inside Air High Expansion
Foam System was certified by major classification
societies following the completion, in their presence,
of efficacy testing in the large scale fire test facility
in accordance with the Circ.668 guideline.
Kashiwa also markets inside air high expansion foam
systems after accumulating a comprehensive knowledge
of their performance and reliability from the results
of a variety of tests conducted using this facility.
